I'd like to welcome everyone and anyone to my first Blog ever. I am a teacher. Previously I taught for thirteen years in the K-12 school system and I have taught for five years here at RDC. I am the Program Chair for the Bachelor of Education Program at Red Deer College in Red Deer, Alberta. My graduate work and interests are in the use of technology in the classroom in an integrated manner. I will be commencing my Doctoral studies with the Department of Elementary Education at the University of Alberta in January of 2009.
I am interested in carrying on a conversation with anyone interested in using technology in their classrooms at any level. I would hope that teachers would read this Blog and ask questions about using technology in their classrooms, offer real-world examples of how they are using technology in their classrooms and just carry-on a dialogue that is informative and useful to everyone.
